How 2: Crossing the line
"Crossing the line" on a shoot can disrupt your storytelling and is likely to confuse viewers of your finished film. Avoiding it is sometimes seen as one of the trickier parts of directing, especially for new filmmakers. But in reality, it simply means making sure your camera remains on one side of the action for the whole of a scene. This short How 2 video explains all.
