Giving directions in Berlin
Charlie is keen to improve his German. He links up online one evening with friends in Berlin. They are on their way to watch a friend in a concert but they can’t seem to find the right way. They stumble unexpectedly into a bunker from the Second World War and are quite frightened as it is so dark. A security guard discovers them and tells them off. They are not allowed inside the bunker. The children apologise and ask the guard if he can point them in the right direction. The guard gives the children directions to the café. Charlie is still online and makes a careful note of them. He is able to help guide his friends to the right café and they get there just in time for the concert. But a disappointment is in store for Charlie. Cameras are not allowed at the concert and so Charlie has to be ‘switched off’ and won’t be able to watch the concert after all.
