Rome is a city filled with statues, monuments and buildings from its imperial past.
But Italy is in a financial crisis - the national debt is running into trillions of euros and it is experiencing its longest recession for more than 40 years.
The Travel Show's Ade Adepitan finds out how the Italian government is turning to other sources of funding to protect the city's past.
