Merav and Janta Wheelhouse have ploughed their life-savings into a house almost entirely built out of straw at Picklescott. They have spent the past seven years in a caravan, but have finally been granted planning permission to build what they call their 'green dream' roundhouse, with a roof covered in turf, and walls insulated by straw.
