Enduring Motor Neurone Disease by Bernard Bushnell
Steve Evans from Surrey has motor neurone disease, also known as ALS and Lou Gehrig's disease, a condition that leaves him unable to walk, talk or eat and for which there is currently no cure.
In this poignant short documentary, young filmmaker Bernard Bushnell uncovers the effect of MND not just on Steve but also on his family, exploring the impact of his condition on his wife Tracy and their three young sons. As well as raising awareness of MND, the film provides a moving yet frank perspective on how serious illness can disrupt family life.
