The Chinese Labour Corps in World War One
Chinese labourers recruited initially to perform mundane tasks in support of the British army. Their subsequent development of high tech skills to maintain the new invention of tanks. The men and the tanks are discussed and archive imagery and tanks are used to illustrate the story. Finally the men鈥檚 post war involvement in low key but essential clearing of the battlefield is remembered.
