Pilot’s eye view of ‘dangerous’ airport landing
The descent into Paro Airport in Bhutan is one of the most difficult and treacherous in the world.
It is situated over 2,500 metres above sea level and surrounded by steep cliffs as tall as 5,500 metres.
Carmen Roberts reports from the cockpit as a pilot guides his plane into what has been known as one of the world’s most dangerous airports.
