Fire tunnel predicts blazes' spread
Australia has more bushfires than any other country. They are frequent events during the hotter months of the year, due to the mostly hot, dry climate.
The fires can spread quickly destroying everything in their path and they are difficult for fire fighters to control.
Researchers are now looking to use technology to predict how bushfires might spread with the hope of controlling them sooner.
