The women behind Bletchley

They were the unseen, often unheralded heroines of the Second World War, but their work was vital to the success of breaking German and Japanese codes.

Now a new book gives the women of Bletchley Park a voice. Through first hand accounts, it reveals more about the lives of those who were selected to work in Britain's most secret wartime organisation.

We were joined by the book's author, Tessa Dunlop, along with Doris Moss and Charlotte Webb who worked deciphering, translating and transcribing messages at Bletchley.
