Why Manorial Rights means your home might not be all yours
Thousands of householders have found their property is not quite all theirs and their feudal Lord of the Manor has manorial rights over hunting, shooting and mining their land.
In practice, these rights are unlikely to be exercised, but that has not stopped householders mounting a Peasants' Revolt to try to get the ancient rights revoked.
Giles Dilnot reports from Welwyn Garden City with homeowner Kim Thomas, former resident Amanda White, Labour MP Albert Owen, and Lib Dem MP Alan Beith who chairs the Justice Committee.
