How would English Votes for English Laws affect the UK?
Conservative Sir Malcolm Rifkind, UKIP's Mark Reckless and Labour's Andy Sawford on the plans for English Votes for English Laws, known as EVEL.
They spoke to Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics after William Hague announced plans to strip MPs for Scottish seats of the power to "impose" income tax rate changes on England, while MPs for English seats would have a veto on tax, schools and health, which only affect England.
The debate looked at how this would affect England, Scottish devolution and the running of the House of Commons.
