And they must scrutinise the government. We meet Sarah Champion MP and see how an MP can change legislation. Sarah Champion is a relatively new MP and still learning how the House of Commons really works. After the child abuse scandal in Rotherham, she is determined to strengthen the law on child sexual exploitation. She wants to amend the Criminal Courts and Justice Bill.
