Rose: Who鈥檇 want to be PM for more than 10 years?
All leaders have to understand they have a sell-by date, says the former Marks and Spencer boss Stuart Rose.
Less known as Lord Rose of Monewden, the Conservative peer talks about political and business leaders knowing when it is time to stand down, but adds: "Identifying who鈥檚 going to replace you is always a difficult thing."
And he said it was healthy to have "fresh thinking, fresh blood, fresh energy" in the boardroom, and at the Cabinet table, in a personal This Week film after David Cameron said he would not seek a third term as prime minister.
