All aboard the train to Jaffna
Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Travel Show’s Henry Golding takes a train ride to Jaffna in Sri Lanka.
Once a stronghold of the Tamil Tigers, a separatist group fighting for independence in Sri Lanka’s civil war, the train route had been suspended since 1990, and for 25 years not a single train had entered the city.
But this all changed in 2014 when the route was reopened, bringing both Sri Lankans and tourists to the area.
