Could a mapping project help Nepal?
Two weeks after an earthquake struck Nepal, killing more than 8,000 people, another has hit the country, this time in eastern Nepal near the town of Namche Bazaar, near Mount Everest.
A lack of comprehensive, high quality maps, especially of remote areas, means that those involved in coordinating the recovery efforts have an even more difficult task.
But Kathmandu Living Labs is hoping to change this by using volunteers to create digital maps of the country, marking out roads, hospitals and other amenities. 麻豆官网首页入口 Click's Spencer Kelly finds out more.
