Frezenberg Memorial
A hundred years ago yesterday the Leicestershire Yeomanry took part in a battle that would for ever carve their place in the history of the First World War. To mark the anniversary a memorial was laid at the site of the battle, Frezenberg Ridge, just outside the town of Ypres in Belgium.
Ben Jackson was there, and spoke first to Major Davey the Squadron Leader of the Leicestershire and Derbyshire Yeomanry Squadron of the Royal Yeomanry, he explained what happened on the day.
