Squatters: 'We are just trying to survive'
The government estimates there are around 20,000 squatters in the UK although the real figure could be higher.
On Wednesday, squatters were evicted from an address in London where properties sell for tens of millions of pounds.
A High Court judge ordered them to leave saying there was no "conceivable defence" for them to stay there and hours later the bailiffs moved in.
Reporter Catrin Nye went to meet them and guests including squatter Jon Glackin, barrister Jan Luba QC and James Saunders from property firm Quintain discussed the issue with Victoria Derbyshire.
