Pre-School Learning Alliance: '拢250m shortfall' over child care plan
Shannon Hawthorne, from the Pre-School Learning Alliance, told Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics that the government's childcare scheme "in principle" was a "positive thing".
But she said: "What we are talking about is making sure the plan is sustainable in the long term and that is where our concerns lie."
And she added there would be a 拢250m shortfall per year with the extension if it is funded at current rates.
