Cutting 拢250,000 scheme into gull research 'frankly daft'
A former Lib Dem MP is not happy with the government cutting a 拢250,000 scheme into gull research.
Don Foster, who did not stand at the general election, said Defra was "never very keen to do this" and the scheme was abandoned this week.
But he said: "Where you cut money where it was intended to save significantly more, that seems frankly daft.鈥
They also spoke to journalists Sue Cameron and Hugh Rifkind.
