A Question Of Trust: government report on surveillance powers

Andrew Neil looked at the report from the government's independent reviewer of terrorism laws into what rights the security services should have to spy on digital communications.

He heard from Richard Barrett, a former director of Global Counter Terrorism Operations and now a counter terrorism adviser, and Conservative MP David Davis, who has been a long-standing campaigner on civil liberties.

No Home Office minister was available to come on the Daily Politics.
