Web exclusive: Parigi O Cara
‘Parigi o cara’ from Act 3 of La Traviata, sung by Gabriela Istoc (Violetta) and Edgaras Montvidas (Alfredo)
This is the first time in the opera that Alfredo and Violetta sing a proper love duet - and it’s also the last. Alfredo has asked for forgiveness and tries to inspire Violetta with a vision of their future life together. Violetta wants to believe that health and happiness are possible but she knows, and we know too, that it is far too late.
