Lost cat travelled from Australia to Northern Ireland
Tigger had travelled 12,000 miles from Australia to Northern Ireland, and had been lost for 14 months, before his owners saw a picture of him in the Daily Telegraph in Australia.
The cat, who is thought to be 26-years-old, showed up at the Armagh branch of Cats Protection, where volunteer Gillian McMullen works.
She said she "can't take the smile" from her face, and added Tigger's owners are "delighted" that he is alive.
He was identified as Australian by his micro-chip, and although he is in "poor health", Gillian thinks Tigger being reunited with his owners will be a "happy tale".
