Tourist flock to Ramsay Street as Neighbours marks 30 years
The Australian TV soap Neighbours is marking 30 years on air.
Set in the mythical Melbourne suburb of Erinsborough, the show has followed the fortunes of the good folk of Ramsay Street since 1985.
It is Australia’s longest running soap and has sold to more than 50 countries.
Ramsay Street itself is now Melbourne’s top tourist attraction with visitors from around the world wanting to see where the show is made.
Christa Larwood joined the Neighbours bus tour and went behind the scenes as another episode went into production.
