Alan Johnson: Labour have to be an 'effective opposition'
Former Labour Home Secretary Alan Johnson says he does not think Ed Miliband did things badly as leader.
Asked where he thinks the Labour Party needs to go, he stresses that it must not "ditch" its past "because we did a lot of great things".
"We also have to be an effective opposition" while all of this analysis of the party's defeat goes on, he adds.
