High emotions as paralysed man walks using robot
Simon Kindleysides has taken his first steps since becoming paralysed from the waist down with the help of the world's first hands-free, independently controlled, robotic walking device. Speaking on the Victoria Derbyshire programme, he described his feelings on taking those first steps and demonstrated the machine once again - an emotional moment for his brother Sean Lake. Jon Graham, from the centre which helped Simon walk, explained just how much computing code went into the high-tech machine.
