Mark Field MP on the 'importance' of building more homes
Conservative MP Mark Field says George Osborne has "run out of patience" with slow housing building progress.
"We've tried the carrot approach by giving local government to get on and get some building done.
"I think the one central thing in George Osborne's mind is the political dynamic - if there's one part of the electorate that's going to vote Conservative, it's home owners. If you don't have that going into the next generation, it's a major problem.
