July 11th 2015 marks 20 years since the single worst act of genocide in Europe since the World War Two; the massacre at Srebrenica, in 1995.
Following the break-up of the former Yugoslavia, and at the height of conflicts on the Balkan peninsula during the mid-90s, Bosnian-Serb forces, led by General Ratko Mladic, ethnically cleansed the predominately Muslim town in the East of Bosnia & Herzegovina, killing more than 8,000 men and boys.
In May of this year, a delegation of faith leaders, teachers and police officers visited the Balkans to learn about the lessons of Srebrenica.
Their journey is presented by Kris Holland.
The programme includes descriptions and archive material that some listeners may find upsetting.
