Pro racer drives car with VR headset
Professional drift car racer Matt Powers has driven a car around a track while wearing a virtual reality headset.
The car's steering, brakes and accelerator (throttle) were connected to the headset, acting as the game controller and determining how the vehicle behaved in the virtual as well as the real world.
While navigating the course, virtual obstacles would appear, which Mr Powers had to avoid.
The race was done under controlled conditions and you should not try to recreate it.
