Kriss Akabusi: Someone suggested I consider doping
The International Olympic Committee will act with "zero tolerance" should allegations of widespread doping in athletics be proven, says president Thomas Bach.
The Sunday Times published data from 5,000 athletes, which it says reveals an "extraordinary extent of cheating" between 2001 and 2012.
Three-time Olympic medalist Kriss Akabusi MBE said athletes who had missed out on medals would find it galling to have missed their "day in the sun". He also said that someone had suggested he consider doping but he was able to say no because he had strong morals from his time in the army.
