Kids Company closure - one week on
It was one of the highest profile charities in the UK but Kids Company closed its services last week after coming under scrutiny over how it spent its money and claims of sexual abuse on its premises.
After the doors shut, local authorities and charities scrambled to help the thousands of people who used their services.
A week on, how have those agencies coped with the new people coming through their doors?
Naga Munchetty spoke to Rachel Nichols who worked at Kids Company, Solomon Smith, who runs Brixton Soup Kitchen and says it has seen a 10% increase in the number of families coming through its doors in the past week and Bola Adako, who used Kids Company services and received what she describes as crucial financial support from them.
