Davis: They were trying to rig the referendum
A Conservative MP on the government losing a vote about the EU referendum over "purdah" rules over policy announcements.
David Davis claimed his government was "trying to rig the referendum" when he spoke to Jo Coburn and guest Tom Baldwin, who used to work for Ed Miilband.
On Monday evening, ministers were outvoted on plans to amend the rules which limit government activity in the build-up to the in/out referendum, due in the next two years.
