The brides choosing 'weddings' for one
When Keiko Ubukata and her husband got married they were unable to afford a proper ceremony and banquet. Twelve years later, she has decided to purchase a wedding experience package.
There is no legal wedding ceremony, but the two day event includes choosing a wedding dress, making a wedding bouquet, having hair and makeup done professionally and a photo shoot.
Ever since getting married she had dreamt of doing something like this as a family, explained Mrs Ubukata, adding that it would have been better if her husband and son had been able to come.
"I can't wait to show the pictures to everyone back at home," she said.
More than 100 brides have taken part since the company launched the experience last year.
