She was working as a teacher in a village in Pakistan-administered Kashmir when the earthquake hit 10 years ago. She was in class at the time and the building collapsed around her. Only she and a handful of children survived. After trekking through mountains to reach the capital and her family home, she learnt that her brother had also been killed.
