10 years on from the Pakistan earthquake
Tabinda Kokab's experience of the Pakistan earthquake brings a whole new meaning to the phrase 'living the story'. She was working as a teacher in a village in Pakistan-administered Kashmir when the earthquake hit 10 years ago. She was in class at the time and the building collapsed around her. Only she and a handful of children survived. After trekking through mountains to reach the capital and her family home, she learnt that her brother had also been killed. Tabinda now works as a journalist for 麻豆官网首页入口 Urdu - she talks us through her memories of 10 years ago and the surprising positive outcomes from the devastation.
