Call for quicker MS diagnoses
A leading health charity says a "wait and see" culture within the NHS towards the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is harming the health of thousands of people.
The MS Society says recent evidence has strengthened the case for early treatment of the most common type of the disease.
Joanna Gosling discussed the issue with Dr Waqar Rashid, a neurologist with a special interest in MS, Anna Field, who received a diagnosis after four years of symptoms and Natasha Proctor who was diagnosed after about two weeks with MS.
