The UK spending 拢25m on helping build a Jamaican jail is 'smart aid' says Conservative MP Nadhim Zahawi, as it could save Britain 拢10m a year.
He spoke to Jo Coburn, and Guardian journalist Zoe Williams, about the announcement from David Cameron as he began a visit there. More than 600 Jamaican nationals are in UK jails but cannot be deported because of its poor prison conditions.
