Cabs v Uber: McNamara v Jenrick
Transport for London (TFL) has launched a consultation on new regulations which hire company Uber says would put it out of business.
Steve McNamara, of the Licensed Taxi Drivers' Association said the proposed regulations relate to "safety and safety alone" and not to competition with black cabs.
But Conservative MP Robert Jenrick said hundreds of thousands of Uber users faced being denied a service they like using because of TFL's action.
