Right to Buy for housing association tenants
Today housing associations decide whether to extend the Right to Buy scheme to people who live in their homes - without MPs scrutinising the scheme. They will vote on whether to make a voluntary settlement with the government - or to be brought under new legislation being published next week. Extending Right to Buy to housing associations was a central Tory election promise. Dan Johnson reports.
