'I stare at Pasha all the time - you're not supposed to' - Carol Kirkwood talks about being on Strictly

On how her body feels today: 'I have not known such pain in all my life.'

On preparing: 'An hour in hair, an hour in makeup, fake tan...'

On what it feels like to make it through: 'It is scary, especially when you've done your dance and you watch everybody else and you think "Wow, they are GOOD!"

'And then you're standing there, and the first 6 are told who's staying in and who's not. Your heart is thumping. And I was in the second 6, so you have to go through a bit more of the programme, you still have all that stress - and it is stress! - and then they get to your name, almost at the end, and it's like "YES! YES!! We live to dance another day!!" It's euphoric, that's probably the best way of describing it.'

On her partner: 'I stare at Pasha all the time - you're not supposed to. ... I can't help bursting into song: "You're just too good to be true, can't take my eyes off of you..." We have such good fun.'
