Protest to be held over new junior doctor contract
Junior doctors are taking to the streets on Saturday to protest against the new contracts proposed by the government for the NHS in England.
Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt came under fire for his claim that current contracts lead to understaffing at the weekend in hospitals, and this contributed to the so-called "weekend effect" on death rates.
Andrew Neil heard from Dr Roshana Mehdian, an organiser of the demonstration, and Andrew Haldenby, director of the pro-market think tank Reform.
There was also a reaction from panellists, Times columnist Jenni Russell, and Ewan Crawford, a former special adviser to Alex Salmond.
