Mental health system 'underachieving'
Huge variations in waiting times for mental health treatment are "just not good enough", according to Health Minister Alistair Burt. People with anxiety and depression should receive talking therapy within six weeks, according to new guidelines in England - but while some areas meet this target, in others just 5% of patients are seen in time. Mr Burt was talking to Conservative MP Dr Liam Fox who has been investigating the discrepancy for this programme.
