Kenya need to realise the value of para-sport
Kenyan athletes will be unable to compete at the IPC World Championships in Doha, because their government refused to fund the trip.
In response to the story brought to you by the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú World Service, Craig Spence - the International Paralympic Committee's Director of Media and Communications - says 'the Kenyan Government needs to realise the value of para-sport and what it can do for society.'
Spence told the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú's Ade Adedoyin that it is the 'athletes who suffer' and he fears for their chances of qualifying for the Rio Paralympics.
