Corbyn 'wrong' on Iraq - Labour MP
Jeremy Corbyn is "wrong" to suggest the UK should reconsider its military action against so-called Islamic State fighters in Iraq, Labour MP Mike Gapes said.
The Labour leader has said that Britain should review its involvement in coalition airstrikes in Iraq.
But Mr Gapes, who has just been elected chairman of the parliamentary Labour Party foreign affairs committee, said the coalition forces were there at the invitation of the Iraqi government and IS was a "fundamental threat".
He also told the Daily Politics it was "illogical" for the UK to be involved in air strikes in Iraq, and not in Syria.
