'My son was killed by hospital doctor's negligence'

The mother of a six-year-old boy who died in hospital after a catastrophic failure in his care has said she will never forgive the doctor responsible. Jack Adcock, who had Down's syndrome, died of a cardiac arrest at Leicester Royal Infirmary in February 2011. Last week, Doctor Hadiza Bower-Garba was found guilty of manslaughter by gross negligence. The trial heard staff failed to recognise Jack was close to death and at one point, Bawa-Garba mistook him for another patient who had a do not resuscitate order.
