'Islamic State': Global response so far
David Cameron says it's his ''firm conviction'' that Britain should join the airstrikes in Syria - but that parliament would have to approve the measures first.
The prime minister has been holding talks with French President Francois Hollande about how to counter so-called Islamic State (IS) militants.
