Should more be done to help young adult offenders?
A report by the programme鈥檚 Ashley John-Baptiste looked at an innovative project developed by police in South London, DIVERT, to try to stop young adults from re-offending.
It is run by officers and a group of volunteers, who try to find work for those who end up in custody.
Two former young offenders, now youth workers, Dario Wokorach and Chelsea Ives, joined the founder of DIVERT, Inspector Jack Rowlands, and Steve Gillan of the Prison Officers' Association to discuss who should take responsibility for helping to turn round the lives of young adult offenders.
