Exclusive: Sir Martin Narey on Residential Care Review
A review of residential care homes for children in England has been launched by the government.
Due to report its findings in Spring 2016, the Department for Education hopes it will help prevent a life of disadvantage for some of the most vulnerable children in care.
More than 8,000 children and young people live in care homes in England, with local government spending around 拢1bn to pay for care home places.
In his first broadcast interview as chair of the review, Sir Martin Narey joined Joanna and a panel of people with direct experience of residential care.
