PM: Corbyn 'doesn't believe in Britain'

David Cameron has accused Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn of not believing in Britain, during a Commons clash over the government's housing policy.

At Prime Minister's Questions on Wednesday, Mr Corbyn attacked plans in the Housing and Planning Bill.

He quoted a council tenant - Linda - who he said would have to downsize and lose her secure home because of the policies the government is proposing.

But Mr Cameron said the government was cutting social rents and claimed Labour under Mr Corbyn did not believe in home ownership.

"Just as we've now got a Labour Party that doesn't believe in work and a Labour leader who doesn't believe in Britain," he added in a final parting shot at Mr Corbyn.
