Author and journalist Yasmin Alibhai-Brown thinks so. In an article in the Daily Mail she talks about the movie East is East - a great movie, set in the seventies about a British Pakistan man who's married to a Roman Catholic. She says something like that is "unimaginable" among today's British Muslims. Do you agree? Have some Asian communities become more segregated? Are Asians less likely to mix - and how big a problem is that? Things are very different now - with the rise of Islamist radicalisation some would argue it IS a lot harder being a Muslim in this country - your every move scrutinised. Recently, David Cameron spoke about getting Muslim women to speak English - he said a fifth don't. Is it a surprise that some communities do feel under siege and keep themselves to themselves?
