A report on US policy towards drugs in Latin America. How the 'war on terror' has been extended to a 'war on drugs'. The US is assisting the government in Bolivia to eradicate cultivation of the coca plant, which is used to produce cocaine. However US intervention and international funding might have unwittingly helped to result in human rights abuses.
