Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn questioned David Cameron over waiting times for cancer diagnostic tests and treatment, during Prime Minister's Questions.

Mr Corbyn said there was "a serious shortage" of therapeutic radiologists in England and asked why the government was cutting training places by 5%. He also said 拢200m was being cut from the public health budget.

Responding, Mr Cameron said the number of radiographers were increasing because of extra investment in the NHS, and added that the UK was hitting many key targets on treatment but had fallen below the target for cancer patients' first treatment to be 62 days after diagnosis.

He also told MPs real advances had been made on public health under his government, including banning smoking in cars when children are present.
